Majors that i have considered are business, medical, environmental science and pharmacy. Currently, I am looking forward to be accepted through the early admission program to Cornell University. I find that my work experience such as being a Youth Outreach Worker( promoting health issues), working with environmentalist groups and being an intern at Kaiser Permanente this summer is a fit for Cornell University's College of Human Biology.
I first started to get to know Sandy during the Spring of her Sophomore year when she was preparing for the AP European History test in the College/Career Center where I work at her high school. She would pop in a couple of times a week to go over notes, check in with the preparation instructor and the12th graders also preparing for the test. I quickly became aware of Sandy's sharp wit, maturity and academic curiosity. We would occasionally discuss her college bound questions, as well. The summer following this she signed up to volunteer at our PACT, Inc. program office assisting with administrative tasks and projects. It was during this time that I got a closer glimpse of Sandy's magnetic personality, her academic talents, and her tremendous extracurricular and youth outreach involvement and community leadership. Sandy is truly a role model not only for other low-income and first-generation college bound youth, but also adults for all her community contributions. She will undoubtedly be successful in college and beyond, and is a pleasure to work with and know!
Sincerely,
Ms. Zales
