Congratulations Israel

PreCollege Program: Carmen High School College Preparatory Class
What factors are important to you in deciding on a college? Size, majors available, teacher/student ratio, extracurricular activities, tuition, and location.
Have you decided on a college yet?  No
Have you decided on a major?  Yes, Biology/Chemical Engineering
Why?  I am interested in these majors because they have to do with the world and its life processes. I plan to pursue as a career in one or both of these fields. However, I am also interested in a number of other subjects and therefore I am keeping my options open for the time being.
Favorite Subject:  It is difficult to choose just one. I enjoy science, writing, and reading.
Favorite T.V. show:  Glee
Favorite Movie:  The Day After Tomorrow
Favorite Book:  Once again it is difficult to choose just one. Though I did enjoy reading The Sea of Trolls Trilogy as well as the Harry Potter Series.
 Favorite Musical Artist/Group: Mika
 Favorite Food: Italian
Favorite Quote:  "Life is what you make of it."
Pets:  No, though I wish I had a hamster
Do you have a job?:  I do not have job, however I am a part my school's student internship program. One day a week I translate for patients and do administrative tasks at Core-El Centro, a local theraputhic clinic. The clinic offers their assistance to those who could not afford these services otherwise.
What do you enjoy doing during your free time:  During my free time I enjoy reading. As lon as the story is good I can read for hours. I also enjoy writing. I love making up stories and characters and having my own adventures at home. In addition, I enjoy playing video games and board games with my friends and family.
Is there any thing else you'd like to share:  I am honored to be chosen as the College Bound eProfiles: Student of the Month. Attending college is a big step in my future that I plan to achieve. I hope that this will help me accomplish that goal.
Note from Israel's Program:

Israel is a very motivated young man with a hunger for knowledge. I have seen him demonstrate this on a daily basis. During his free time, when most students are checking their email or listening to music, Israel can be found studying or reading a book.
